# 6.0 WheelCoin in the World

Since the release of v1 of the white paper, WheelCoin has gained traction amongst many partners and users around the globe. In fact at the time of writing this v2 in May 2023, WheelCoin has users in more than 140 countries around the globe!

A major global partner of course is Celo blockchain, the home chain for the WheelCoin digital assets. Celo itself has a global user base including strong traction in the global south. WheelCoin is collaborating with the Celo team to expand the reach into new countries and new partners.<br>
