WheelCoin is being developed by the team from Iomob. Iomob was founded in 2018 by Boyd Cohen, Josep Sanjuas and Victor Lopez to develop a decentralized Internet of Mobility (IoM) network. The team has grown to approximately 30 full time based in Spain, UK and further East including India, Bangladesh and Egypt.

The leadership team providing guidance to the growth of WheelCoin while maintaing the IoM include:

Boyd Cohen, Ph.D., Co-Founder and CEO. Boyd is a globally recognized exper in smart cities and smart mobility. He has published three books, has the highest cited peer reviewed paper on shared mobility and has co-founded and sold two previous software companies.

Josep Sanjuas, Ph.D., Co-Founder and CTO. Josep has a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Before joining iomob, he co-founded and was CEO and CTO of startup Talaia, a spinoff of UPC-BarcelonaTech that applies big data & SaaS to Internet traffic analysis.

Victor Lopez, Ph.D. Co-Founder and Director of Software Engineering. Victor has a Ph.D. in computer science and is an expert in algorithms and machine learning. Victor was Talaia’s first employee before commencing his doctoral studies. In his spare time, Victor enjoys engaging in math competitions.

Adrian Ulisse, Extended Co-Founder and CBO. Adrian has two decades of experience in business development with most of that in the transportation space. Prior to joining Iomob, Adrian was head of global business development for MaaS Global, the largest B2C MaaS scaleup.

Elizabeth Obediente, Director of Product. Elizabeth spent more than a decade in fossil-based and then renewable energy prior to obtaining her executive MBA and pursuing a career in design thinking and innovation. Prior to Iomob she founded the Spanish office of a boutique design thinking studio, Six Fingers.

Maria Andrianova, Director of Investor Relations and IoM MENA region. Maria was a partner in a law firm in Russia before leading the creation of a public-private investment vehicle to accelerate startups with solutions to solve mobility challenges for Moscow Transportation. WheelCoin Advisors Sebastien Borget, Co-Founder, The Sandbox. Leading global expert and founder of one of the largest metaverse projects. Sebastien is both an angel investor and advisor to Iomob with a primary focus on supporting the growth of WheelCoin. David Lee, Co-Founder, Block Asset, Advisor. David Lee has been an advisor and mentor to iomob since its inception and was the impetus for Iomob’s first investment from BlockAsset, a baby fund of Fenbushi Capital. He is a passionate advocate for decentralization and financial inclusion. David is based in Singapore. Play.Earn.Striving.Together (PEST), Is a leading Move2Earn gamers guild composed of 1300+ advanced gamers including some who were part of the genesis for STEPN and GenoPets and are still actively involved in those communities. P.E.S.T. also developed the onboarding guide for new gamers to Genopets.
